Articuloud is a complete text to speech system, bought to you by CarePair.

Articuloud, via the android app or the online service, is a Text-to-Speech (TTS) Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) aid which can assist you to speak in your native language, by generating speech based on the text you enter.

Articuloud is ideal for people who have good cognitive abilities and written language skills, but have lost the ability to speak, due to a physical impairment such as Motor Neurone Disease/ALS, Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, Head and Neck Cancer or a Head Injury.

Articuloud has predictive text and phrase banking and is designed to run online for free or as a free android app which is fully integrated with the online system and will back-up to your online account.

Articuloud is the first TTS system to be fully multilingual within a single app, and this is achieved by using a third-party native language keyboard and voice on Android devices.

If you do not have an android device, Articuloud’s online system and can be accessed by any device capable of running a web browser with an internet connection, either wireless, 3G, 4G or 5G. This includes devices such as iPads, iPods, Android Tablets, PCs, Macs, Games Consoles and many more consumer devices.

Articuloud online can also be used with existing AAC communication systems that are browser and internet capable, such as eye-gaze systems. Meaning that you can use Articuloud across a wide range of platforms, and access methods.

Articuloud online is available in 7 languages, English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and Austrian, with 23 voices including regional accents! Articuloud also has location-based vocabulary abilities meaning you can save phrases based on your location, for example in the shops, at home or in the pub!

Articuloud online or Articuloud’s Android app automatically saves all of your vocabulary into your online profile, so if you move from device to device, all of your vocabulary and settings will be there when you log in!
